The University of Oslo has secured a new framework agreement for the procurement of seminar and conference services, which will be valid until December 2026. The agreement was negotiated by the Directorate for Management and Financial Governance (DF?) and applies to all government agencies affiliated with the agreement, including the University of Oslo (UiO).

What's new?

It applies to events both with and without accommodation for groups of 10 people or more. It covers:

  • Meeting rooms and plenary halls
  • Standard technical AV equipment
  • Lunch, snacks during breaks, and dinner
  • Accommodation when needed

How to use the agreement

To ensure the best offers tailored to our needs, quotes must be obtained from 3-5 suppliers within the framework agreement. This ensures competition and allows us to choose the best solution for each specific event. DF? has negotiated the agreement to provide us with competitive prices.

What does this mean for you as a planner?

You must collaborate with your local purchaser to make a call-off (order) through a mini competition based on your needs, which you submit via nettskjema. Once the needs are submitted, your chosen suppliers will prepare offers for evaluation. Together with the purchaser, you will review the offers, and your manager (BDM) will sign the final choice of a supplier.
