Section for Logistics collects and delivers ordinary and internal mail. With the digitalisation of society, the volume of postal mail has decreased. Logistics has adapted accordingly and now delivers mail on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m.
You can also collect and deliver mail at the Logistics centre in the basement of Kristian Ottosens hus, Problemveien 9. Entry from the parking lot between Kristian Ottosens hus and Villa Eika. The Logistics centre is open Monday through Friday, from 7.30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Courier services
Courier services are carried out by agreement for each delivery. If you require a courier services, please contact the Estate Department. You must ensure that all packages and shipments that arrive by external courier companies are marked with the recipient’s mobile number.
The Estate Department does not offer private courier services.
Internal moving
Logistics are able to help with the moving of loose furniture, fittings and boxes that do not require any equipment other than a moving dolly. Report your need to the Estate Department, and they will assess whether or not the move is possible, or if external movers are necessary. Internal moving between UiO's areas only.
Logistics and the Estate Department do not provide moving services for belongings to or from employees' homes, nor for personal belongings.
Report damages, defects and needs
You can also report other needs related to cleaning, outdoor space, waste, internal relocation, courier services or other operational work.
