NUAS Planning group – Facilities and Environment, in cooperation with the University of Oslo, welcomes you to an on-site conference in Oslo from Sunday, 7th September to Tuesday, 9th September 2025.

  • New buildings and new ways of working
  • Safety and security in a changing world with new technologies

This is once again a great opportunity to gain new perspectives and increase knowledge together with our Nordic colleagues. One important aim with the conference is to build, widen and strengthen relationships with fellow professionals from Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland and Faroe Islands.

Sunday

15:00–16:30: Voluntary guided tour at the Historical Museum

19:00–21:00: Welcome get-together at Summit bar at Radisson Blue Scandinavia (radissonhotels.com)

Monday

08:15–09:00: Registration at Campus Blindern, Eilert Sundts hus

09:00–12:00: Three sessions of presentations (detailed programme to come)

12:00–13:00: Lunch

13:00–15:30: Guided tours of Livsvitenskapsbygget and the art and history of Campus Blindern

15:30–17:45: Leisure time

17:45–18:45: Visit to the University Aula and Munch's paintings

From 19:00: Dinner in a venue close to Radisson Blu Scandinavia (radissonhotels.com) and the University Aula

Tuesday

08:30–09:00: Arrive at Domus Juridica at Campus Downtown

09:00–11:30: Two sessions of presentations (detailed programme to come)

11:30–12:45: Short walk to Professorboligen and lunch

12:45–13:45: Guided tour of the historical university buildings in the city centre and the surrounding gardens

14:00–14:45: Closing session in Gamle festsal in Domus Academica, Urbygningen

UiO has reserved 120 rooms at Radisson Blu Scandinavia (radissonhotels.com), a short tram ride away from Campus Blindern and walking distance to Campus Downtown. Prices:

  • NOK 1795,- per night in a standard double room for one person.
  • Double occupancy is available for an additional NOK 100,- per night.

About NUAS

NUAS, The Nordic Association for University Administrators (originally Det Nordiska Universitets Administrat?rs Samarbetet) is a member-driven collaborative organisation established in 1976. NUAS aims to be its members’ preferred network for exchange of knowledge, competence and creativity with regard to all aspects of administration and services. Today, 65 universities and university colleges are members. NUAS has 14 interest groups that focus on specific administrative disciplines in the higher education sector, with a total of 125 active group members.
