What is GPT UiO?
GPT UiO is a service developed by UiO that allows you to use OpenAI's GPT models within UiO's privacy requirements.
- Students and employees at UiO can log in with FEIDE and freely use the service.
- GPT UiO can be used in lectures at UiO and for research purposes, with personal data up to yellow data.
Data Storage and User Content
UiO stores all account-related data on its servers, and input/output data is processed temporarily by Microsoft Azure OpenAI within GDPR-compliant regions.
When you use the Service, we may collect personal information included in queries and prompts ("Input"), file uploads, or feedback that you provide to the Service, as well as completions and responses from the Service ("Output").
