Create and use AI Assistants

An AI assistant is a conversational partner that uses artificial intelligence to answer questions, suggest solutions, or provide guidance. By customizing the instructions for the assistant, you can tailor it to your specific needs.

How to Create an AI assistant

  1. Select "AI assistants" from the left menu.

  2. Click on "Create AI assistant".

  3. Fill out the fields.

  4. Click "Create".

  5. (Optional): Activate "sharing."
     

    • What is "sharing AI assistants"?

      • When you activate "sharing," a link to the AI assistant is generated. The link can be copied and shared with others, such as a colleague, fellow student, or a larger student group. Those who get access to the link, can use the AI assistant in their own conversations.

      • This feature can only be used between users from the same institutions that have GPT UiO. 

  6. Click on "Use AI assistant".

How to Use an Existing AI assistant

  1. Click on "AI assistants" from the left menu.

  2. Click on the AI assistant you wish to use.
