Getting started with your UiO GCP project
Log in to GCP via console.cloud.google.com.
Log in by using <username>@uio.no as your email address. This will send you to a FEIDE log in page, where you must use your UiO username and password.
Be aware that if you are already logged in with your private Google account, you will be automatically logged into GCP as well. Click on your username or avatar in the top right corner to add your G Suite account.
I am logged in with my private Google account
If you are logged in with your private Google account, you will be able to see the GCP interface, but you are not able to use any of the services, unless you add your credit card information. Using GCP privately also means you can only use the service for green data, as opposed to yellow data with an UiO account.
Remember to check the top right corner of your screen which account you are logged in to. If you are logged in with your private account, but wish to use your UiO account, click on your UiO account below. If you cannot find it, click ?add account? and add the UiO account.
If you have not applied for access or if your application has not been approved yet, you will be notified that the service is not available. If you have filled in the application and it has been approved, you will gain access as soon as possible. It is not necessary to use your private account to gain access through UiO's service agreement.
