Changing display language in Open Office

The UiO IT department has prepared a language pack for Norwegian Bokm?l and Norwegian Nynorsk display language in Open Office. If you want to use Open Office in Norwegian, please get your local IT staff to install this language pack. If you want to use Open Office in another language, language packs can be downloaded and installed from the Open Office webiste. Please note that you need an administrator password to install a language pack. If you do not have an administrator password for your computer, please ask your local IT staff for assistance.

For local IT: The Norwegian language pack is installed by using Tivoli. Additional languages can be downloaded from the Open Office web site. Other languages must be installed for the user (unpriviledged/personal) or Centrally (for the computer).

2. Select Languages under Language Settings to the right in the window.
