The VPN-services at UiO require that you install Secure Client on your computer.
Here are the installation instructions for Windows, iOS, MacOS and Android. The software is also available for Linux.
IMPORTANT: If you are using an UiO operated Windows-PC, VPN is built-in and you do not need to install VPN.
NB! You can not mount network drives (shares) through this solution. On laptops that are serviced by UiO you can mount shares directly.
- If the directory/volume is connected to your office computer, you can access it from the UiO Program kiosk or via Remote Desktop.
- If the site is not connected to your office computer, you can in some cases connect directly, using software you install.
