Your computer must have an updated operative system with all security updates.
Our security systems WILL detect virus infested computers or other breaches of security.
Restrictions:
- UiO's wifi network has limited bandwith to share between all users in any wifi zone. Use a cable connection for bandwith-demanding work.
- Static IPs are not available on UiO wifi. Your IP adress might change from zone to zone, or from office to auditorium.
- Some services are unavailable from the wifi network. These might only be available from desktop computers because of security or license restrictions. Contact your local IT-unit if you wonder about availability of a service.
