New look for two-factor authentication

On February 6th, the two-factor authentication at the University of Oslo (UiO) changed to a new look that utilizes UiO's current graphic design.

Only the appearance is new

Everything works as before, but the IT department wants to point out the visual change. You should always be cautious when providing login information, and those who are most vigilant may have noticed that the old UiO logo with the red colon is no longer visible on the screen during two-factor authentication.

It is only the look of the two-factor authentication window that is changing. Logging into MS365, Feide, Weblogin, and others will remain the same as before.

Before and now

Previously, the screen during two-factor authentication looked like this::

Now it looks like this:

Take note that the background behind the dialog box now also features UiO's current graphic design.

Completely Safe

Therefore, only the appearance has changed, and it is safe to proceed with the login as long as it is you who is logging in.
