The UiO IT Department's section Research Platforms launches Self Service V3 for Educloud. This third version og the Self Service portal serves two major purposes: Firstly, it provides our users with new functionality that lets them manage their Educloud project and their personal data. Secondly, V3 aligns Educloud’s Self Service portal with TSD’s self service portal. TSD is Educloud’s sister platform for processing highly sensitive data, whose self service portal saw a major upgrade in December 2024.
Much like its counterpart for TSD, Educloud Self Service represents the collaborative work of multiple sections at the IT Department without whose help Self Service would not be the same. Noteworthy is our close collaboration with the UX section and IT Help. The former created the visual design for Educloud Self Service, and both sections provided invaluable input for making the web portal easier and more convenient to use.
