Certificates

SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is a protocol for secure transmission of data over the Internet. SSL encrypts all data which is sent between the web browser and the web server, and by using digital keys you make sure that the data arrives safely to the recipient. 

The service for x509 certificates (both personal and host certificates) is temporarily closed as of 10th January 2025 due to disagreements between GEANT and Sectigo. GEANT have landed an agreement with a new supplier, however we are yet to get access to the functionality that lets us create the order process with Nettskjema.
