To terminate an account in UiO-Dropbox you can send a request to Dropbox-administrator at UiO.
You can choose between:
- the account with all its content is completely deleted.
- the account is changed to a Basic account with all contents intact.
You will still be able to log in with the same email and password as when the account was a part of UiO-Dropbox, but the password will no longer be updated when you change your UiO account password. We recommend that you change both email address and password to suite a personal Dropbox after the account has been changed into a Basic account.
If more data is stored on the account than is allowed with a Basic account, you will have to reduce the data amount before adding new data to the account.
