Overleaf – Editing and Collaboration on LaTeX Documents

What is Overleaf?

  • Overleaf is a web-based writing and publishing tool for creating, editing, and collaborating on LaTeX documents.

  • The service offers document editing with full history and real-time updates of the LaTeX file, and exports to PDF, ready for sharing or publishing.

  • Collaborate with other staff or students at UiO or at other universities. Can be used with Dropbox and the reference tool Zotero.

  • Approved for use by IT security and legal.

Getting started

Overleaf can be used by staff and students at UiO. To log in, click on the green "Log in with SSO" button a bit down the page, under "Overview."
