Creating a WebID user in the new service

Please note that you do not need to create a WebID user if you already have a Feide user.

To create a WebID user:

1. Go to the new WebID-service.
2. Click 'Register new user'.
3. Enter the necessary information.
   • The e-mail address must be an address you have access to. A message will be sent to the address and this must be validated before the WebID user is created. Your username will be this e-mail address.
4. You must consent to WebID being able to handle your personal data. Read more under Terms and Conditions.
5. When the form has been completed correctly, you will receive an e-mail with a link to confirm. Your WebID user will only be activated when you have clicked that link.
6. The verification link will lead you to a new page. You now have an active WebID user. Remember to notify the person who manages your WebID-access with the e-mail address you used to register your account.

Now you have a WebID user. To begin with, the user has no access. When the Vortex-site you want to access has switched over to the new service, you can use this new WebID user to log in.

At first log in you will have to set up two-factor authentication.
