Archelon in Greece is looking for volunteers to work with sea turtles

Archelon is a non-profit organization dedicated to the study and protection of sea turtles and their habitats in Greece. They are recruiting for 9 different projects. The projects take place at 8 locations that are the most important nesting beaches and feeding grounds for sea turtles in Greece, as well as at Archelon's Sea Turtle Rescue Centre, near Athens. They want someone with good communication skills in English, which is the official language in all projects. You must also commit to a minimum of 4 weeks for field projects, and 5 weeks at the Rescue Centre. It is possible to apply for Erasmus+ funds to cover expenses.

Norsk e-Fuel announces internship in geospatial information systems

Norsk e-Fuel works to protect the climate and make aviation sustainable by providing renewable, synthetic fuels to the aviation industry. Hydrogen-derived fuels and e-Fuels are a new and growing industry where geospatial data and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) play an increasingly crucial role. As a summer student, you will gain practical experience with GIS tools and actively contribute to their work to realize Europe's first industrial e-fuel production. They want someone with expertise in QGIS to help with the transition from ArcGIS, and to maximize the potential of QGIS. You must be a bachelor's or master's student in a relevant field, with experience in GIS, as well as a programming language. You should be outgoing and a team player, and have good communication skills in written and oral English.

TGS provides scientific data and intelligence to companies active in the energy sector. As an intern you will participate in engaging activities and collaborate closely with a dedicated Mentor and Buddy for guidance and support throughout the program. The program spans 12–14 weeks during the summer months, offering flexibility within that range. They are searching for someone who have completed the first half of their Master's program or have recently graduated with a Master's degree in Geology or Geophysics, with basic experience with one or two interpretation software programs. You should also be self-driven and motivated, being able to tackle challenges independently before seeking assistance.

Become a PhD Research Fellow in interdisciplinary education research at the INTED Center

INTED at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at UiO seeks to better our understanding of teaching and learning in interdisciplinary education at universities. The PhD research fellow is expected to contribute to the development of a research-based understanding of the impact of the I-LA program on student and LA learning and on institutional adoption and change. This research will be done using a mixture of traditional qualitative methods, situated within a design-based research framework, and cutting-edge text analysis methods that use large language models as a tool for qualitative research. Applicants must have a master's degree or equivalent in natural sciences, educational research, psychology, or other social sciences. You must be fluent in written and oral English, and candidates with strong oral and written skills in a Scandinavian language will be given preference.
