How do you withdraw?
If you wish to withdraw before the exam, you must do this via Studentweb. Click the button 'Withdraw from exam' next to the exam registration. You will find it in the menu My active courses in Studentweb.
When is the deadline?
Depending on the type of exam, the deadline for withdrawing from the exam is at the latest two weeks before:
- the exam date concerned
- the first exam day for several examination days
- the deadline for submission of semester assignments/papers or similar
- the date for distribution of the home exam assignment/paper or similar
- the deadline for submitting the last assignment/paper via portfolios or another form of evaluation by means of large parts of the instruction period
Withdrawal after the deadline will be considered an examination attempt, as will failure to attend the examination. Read more about valid reasons for absence.
Clinical nutrition, dentistry and medicine
There is no deadline for withdrawal from an examination for the study programmes in clinical nutrition, dentistry and medicine. Failing to attend an examination without legitimate absence is not considered an examination attempt, neither does it trigger the right to a re-scheduled or new examination. Students who fail to attend an examination will be transferred to a lower year group and be subject to priority for access to the next year group.
