UiO agreements

UiO agreements are university-wide bilateral agreements at the University of Oslo, and are not limited to specific faculties. Most UiO students can apply for exchange through these agreements. The agreements are particularly suitable for students who have a semester of elective courses.

Who can apply?

  • You must be a degree student at UiO.
  • You must have completed 60 ECTS credits before the exchange semester.
  • Some agreements may have additional requirements.
  • If you do not have 60 ECTS credits when you apply, but have credits from previous higher education, you must upload an official English transcript of records.

About the UiO agreements

UiO agreements are university-wide bilateral agreements at the University of Oslo, and are not limited to specific faculties. The idea behind these agreements is to give students at UiO a wide range of exchange possibilities.

The UiO agreements can be both tuition based and tuition free. If you apply through a tuition based agreement you might be entitled to financial support from the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund (L?nekassen).
