15.03.2023, 10:00-12:00: What you can offer employers - competency workshop
Where: The Science Library seminar room 209 (Alternative: Auditorium 2, Kristine Bonnevies hus)
Do you want to be better at putting into words what you know and want, so that you can convey this to a future employer?
In this workshop you will learn more about how to describe your own personal traits, skills, knowledge and results. This information can be very useful for setting up your CV and cover letter, and for arguing your case in a job interview.
The workshop will answer questions such as:
- Why is it important to be aware of what I can do?
- How do I go about becoming more aware of my skills?
- How can I convey it in such a way that the employer wants to hire me?
The workshop consists of both information and practical work, where we work in pairs, small groups and individually. The tasks will help you become more aware of your skills, knowledge, abilities and motivation. Note that the workshop could be changed to a digital format if the current situation requires it.
