On completing your degree, depending on the specific syllabus you choose, you will:
- have gained specialist knowledge in one or more of the following fields: quantum chemistry, spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, chemical thermodynamics, chemical kinetics, structural chemistry, statistical mechanics, x-ray and neutron scattering techniques, nanochemistry, and the dynamics and structure of macromolecular and colloidal structures.
- have a basic understanding of how physical models explain chemical properties and reactivity.
