Programme structure

The programme option Mechanics is built around a Master's thesis, which is an independent scientific research work.  The programme option offers either a long thesis of 60 ECTS credits, or a short thesis of 30 ECTS credits. Depending on the size of your thesis, you either take six courses with a total of 60 ECTS credits, or nine courses with a total of 90 ECTS credits. In both cases the sum of thesis and courses should be 120 ECTS credits.

The programme contains mandatory courses. For general structure and mandatory requirements, please see the programme structure.
