Deadlines at the start of studies

14th August:

  • Deadline for registering for courses in Studentweb to apply within the main admission. Important! You don't need to do anything until you have attended the first mandatory lecture.

1st September:

The Geoscience Student Council

The Geosciences Student Council (GFU) is made up of student representatives who advocate for the academic and social interests of GEO students. It acts as an important link for communication and collaboration between students and the Department of Geosciences.

G?A NORVEGICA

One of UiO's by far oldest associations for students can be found at the Department of Geosciences. G?A Norvegica was founded as early as 1935, and since then has brought the students together both academically and socially.
