On October 23rd we will be organizing Master Seminar 1, which is especially aimed at students in their first semester. Here we will have a special focus on how to find scientific literature, how to read scientific articles and how to plan a project. The latter is especially important with regard to the project description that you must submit by December 1st.

Register for Master Seminar 1 here - there will be pizza!

When registering, you can also indicate what you would like to be discussed and answered in the seminar.

It is an expectation from the department that Master students participate in the Master Seminars, as general guidance is provided here in finding literature, referencing and writing.

Would you like to participate in a study to test a new type of body-worn sensor? You will wear four sensors for a total of approx. 30 hours and will, among other things, spend a short time in a cool room and a warm room to test the temperature characteristics of the sensor. You will receive a gift certificate of 500,- for your participation.

Contact: Sisay M. Abie and Ole Elvebakk: s.m.abie@fys.uio.no and ole.elvebakk@ous-hf.no (send an email to both).

Take the opportunity to learn both about research and about sensors!
