Quiet rooms for resting

There are rooms available for resting at some of the buildings on campus. There is a slight difference between faculties and the libraries, and we recommend you to contact your faculty to navigate you on how to get access to these rooms.     

This is a list over buildings that provides rooms for resting:  

Domus Juridica

At Domus Juridica there is two rooms available. Room number 5238 and 3244. Both rooms are equipped with a chair and a daybed. 

Domus Medica

There is one room (room 1156) at Domus Medica where students can rest. The room is close to the reading hall on the first floor, and are equipped with a simple bed. 

The room is only available for students who needs to rest frequently. You can apply to get access through the application on special adaptation in everyday studies. 

It is also possible to get access to a quiet room at some of the university hospitals, if needed. 

Domus Theologica

At Domus Theologica you will find a room for resting at the 3rd floor, room 301. The room is available for students with special needs or adaptation. Opening hours are from 11 am to 3 pm.

Book the room on TP, and get the room key at TF-infosenter.

Eilert Sundts hus

At Eilert Sundts hus (Block A) you will find one room for resting in the basement floor, labeled K22. This room is equipped with a bed.

At 亚博娱乐官网_亚博pt手机客户端登录sparken you will find the quiet room close to the main entrance. You can get the key to the room at the reception. The room can be used on: 

  • Monday - Thursday: 7.30 am - 5 pm
  • Friday: 7.30 am - 4 pm 

Georg Sverdrups hus

In Georg Sverdrup's house / the HumSam library, the rest room is located on the lower floor of the vestibule. Turn left below the stairs, then right around the next corner. The door is marked "Quiet room for resting". The room is equipped with a day bed, recliner, table and lamp.

The room must be booked in TP Booking is made for the current day and the room can be used for 1 hour. TP check-in on arrival is necessary.

The key can be borrowed from the library on presentation of a student ID.

Harald Schjelderups hus

There are one resting rooms at Harald Schjelderups hus. The is equipped with a bench/bed, camp bed, pillows, blankets, two desks, to chairs and a desk lamp.

Harriets Holters hus

At Harriets Holters hus you wiil find the room for resting in the basement floor, labeled K24.

Helga Engs hus

At Helga Engs hus you will find the quiet room at the basement floor, labeled U26/U27. The room is equipped with a small bed, a table, chair and a sink in the vestibule. 

Contact UV Student Information Centre if you need to use this room. 

Niels Henrik Abels hus

On the second floor at the Science Library in Niels Henrik Abels hus you will find a quiet room labebled "Bj?rnehj?rnet".  The room is equipped with a sofa. Visit the counter at the libabry to get access to this room.

P.A Munchs hus

At P. A. Munchs Hus you will find the quiet room on the 1st floor, room number 148.

Admission cards to the room can be handed out by contacting the counter at the library on the 2nd floor at Sophus Bugge. The room is equipped with antibac and paper covers due to Covid-19.
