Cand.theol. Ole Jakob L?land will defend his doctoral dissertation: "Pauline Refigurations. A Study in the Reception of Paul the Apostle in the Works of Jacob Taubes and Slavoj ?i?ek" for the degree of Philosophiae Doctor (PhD) at the Faculty of Theology.
Ole Jakob L?land's trial lecture: "Jacob Taubes og Slavoj ?i?ek both articulate the figure of Paul as an 'anti-liberal' figure of 'radical politics'. Why and how do these articulations, in both instances, become so thoroughly wrapped up with legacies of anti-Judaism?"
UiODoc is organising an exclusive lunch debate for PhD students and postdocs with the two candidate teams for the upcoming rectorial elections in April. The two candidate teams will address the challenges that young researchers are facing today - and discuss how they intend solve them.

This final REDO workshop style conference will explore the questions above by drawing on empirical material relating to the case studies included within the project and to other, as of yet unconsidered types of activities that involve linkages between ritual, democracy and the other-than-human. The goal of the conference is thus not only to substantiate the outcomes of the REDO project, but also to build a broader base of people, practices and ideas for future collaboration and research.
