David Brian Charbonneau and Sara Seager received the 2024 Kavli Prize in Astrophysics "for their pioneering work on the discovery and characterization of exoplanets and their atmospheres". As part of the program for Kavliprisuka in September, they will give a lecture about their discoveries at the Science Library.

With the fast-paced evolution of data sciences, a deeper grasp of probabilistic methods is essential. This course studies high-dimensional probability, with applications in data sciences, focusing on random vectors, matrices, and projections in large dimensions.
