The deadline for handing in the project description/exam has been postponed. New deadline: 6 June. Exam results will be available 14 June.
The Schevyens & Storey book is sold out at the moment. The book will be available in Akademika bookshop by the end of April/beginning of May.
Please note that Nina Witoszek's lecture on Tuesday 25 April is CANCELLED. This means that there will be a slight slippage in the lecture schedule: Nina's first lecture will be held on Thursday 27 April between 14.15-16.00, and her second session on Tuesday 2 May. Tanja's first lecture starts on Thursday 4 May.

To all participants in SUM 4011B:
One of the main objectives of the course will be to assist students in the preparation of their project description, a 5 - 10 page document that encapsulates the essentials of their master's project, such as its goal, rationale, main research questions, theoretical background, method and important references. The idea is that by the end of the course, students will have completed a draft of their projection description, which can then be finalised after the course in cooperation with their thesis advisor.
The intention is that the thesis advisor will be assigned to each student either during or as soon as possible after the completion of the course. Each student's project description must be formally approved by their thesis advisor by the end of the Spring semester (last week of June).
We suggest that students come to the first day of SUM 4011B on 25 April with an idea or idea(...
The first lecture is moved to Sognsveien 70, 5th floor.
First lecture: 25 April. Attendance is obligatory. If you can not attend the first lecture please contact Ann-Christin Johnsg?rd: a.c.johnsgard@sum.uio.no / 22858900
