We ask all students to please fill in the evaluation form available in Fronter. We are depending on feedback from the students in order to improve our courses and teaching.
Send an e-mail til Anne-Line (studentinfo@sum.uio.no) when you have submitted the evaluation form, and in the return you will receive info regarding your assigned supervisor.
You will be assigned a supervisor for your MA thesis in the end of week 6.
The examination results are now available in StudentWeb (under the menu item "Your status"). I recommend you to also read the description of UiO's grading system. You can ask for an explanation of the grade which have been awarded, and you can appeal against your grade or any formal errors relating to the examination. Request for explanation of the grade must be sent to studentinfo@sum.uio.no no later than one week after the grades have been announced. Please read more on the information website on explanations and appeals.
The grades will be published in StudentWeb January 13, 2015.
We have received some invitations to internships/master's thesis colaboration.
- Institutions to promote Ecosystem Services (ES) provision in a Coffee Agroforestry landscape.
CIRAD - Agricultural Research for Development, offers a 5 month stiped (500 Euros) and travel cost for a student that wants to do fieldwork in Nicaragua or Costa Rica.
More info here. - Norsk Institutt for naturforskning (NINA) has also contacted us regarding a project about wild animals in todays technological society, as well as animal rights and animal welfare. The project description is in Norgerian, but international students are also invited to apply.

Due to a conference on Tuesday, Karina will have her Meeting hour on Monday 29 September at 12.00-13.00.
