Course content
The content of the course may vary from year to year but will be based on important, contemporary topics within ethical theories, moral dilemmas, theories within philosophy of law and other kinds of practical philosophy.

Admission
Students who are admitted to study programmes at UiO must each semester register which courses and exams they wish to sign up for in Studentweb.

Teaching
28 hours of seminar. There are two compulsory tuition activities:
- attendance at at least 10 out of 14 sessions
- six one-page paper assignments, of which you must complete five
These activities must be approved in order to be allowed to hand in the final term paper.
Examination
A term paper of approximately 10 pages à 2300 characters, litterature list not included. You submit your paper in Fronter.
Please note that all compulsory activities must be approved in order to be allowed to hand in the final term paper.
Grading scale
Grades are awarded on a scale from A to F, where A is the best grade and F is a fail. Read more about the grading system.
