We have the pleasure to invite you to an open guest lecture by senior researcher Dr. Hildegard DIEMBERGER sponsored by the Tibet Network. The title of the lecture is:  "Buddhist women as patrons of printing in Tibet and the Himalayas" and will be arranged 17. November, 16:15-18:00 in seminar room 10, P.A. Munch's house. Dr. DIEMBERGER is Director of the Mongolian and Inner Asia Studies Unit (MIASU) and Director of Studies in Human Social and Political Sciences, Pembroke College, Cambridge University. She has published extensively on the anthropology, the cultural and religious history and, more recently, the environmental transformations of Tibet. Dr. Diemberger is also Secretary General of the International Association for Tibetan Studies (IATS).
