In connection with Akkadian-Sumerian Seminar and the work on the Bibliotheca Polyglotta: http://www2.hf.uio.no/polyglotta/ there are the following reading groups during the spring 2013:

Comparative readings of Hammurapi and Hethite laws

Bodhisatvapi?aka, Sanskrit, Tibetan, Chinese

Ak?yamatinirde?a, Sanskrit, Tibetan, Chinese

Euclid Elementa, Greek, Latin, Arabic, etc.

Plato, Timaeus, Greek, Latin (tr. Cicero, Chalcidius, Ficino) (in GM)

Boethius, De consolatione philosophiae, Old High German, Old French, Old & Middle English, Notker, Jean de Meun, Chaucer, etc.

The seminars will mostly be in room PAM 354. All with interest in the topics are welcome to the seminars.

Monday 12-15: Euclid (except Monday 14th of January, then 9.30hrs.)

Tuesday 9-12: Boethius

Wednesday 14-17: Plato

Thursday 14-16: Bodhisatvapi?aka

Friday 10-12: Ak?yamatinirde?a

Friday 14-18: Hammurapi
