Extracurricular workshop for those interested: Computational Social Science for Qualitative Researchers

On Wednesday, 29 November 2017, Chris Bail is offering a workshop covering three broad areas:

• What types of data are there on social media?
• What are their strengths and weaknesses for qualitative researchers?
• How might qualitative researchers go about collecting and analyzing these data?

The workshop is free and is co-sponsored by the Department of Media & Communications and the Center for the Study of Political Communication at University of Oslo. The workshop will take place in room 205, from 1 p.m. through 5 p.m. (13:00-17:00). Coffee and tea will be provided compliments of our hosts.
