Examination
Students are graded on the basis of a 7 days written home exam and an oral exam (20 min) that will take place after the home exam assignment.
The oral exam is primarily a conversation about the candidate's assignment. The oral examination will also verify that the student has written the assignment.
The framework for the oral exam is 20 minutes. The oral exam starts with you giving a brief oral presentation of your answers to the home exam. After this, the examiners will ask any questions related to the assignment, and they may also ask questions about the central learning outcome and literature in the subject. You must be prepared to answer questions from the entire subject.
Grading
You will receive an final grade for subject at the end of the day, on the same day that the oral exam takes place. You will receive an explanation of your grade at the same time as you receive your grade.
Attendance is not mandatory for the distribution of grades, as it will be published in Studentweb during the afternoon regardless. However, please be aware that if you choose not to attend, you will not be able to request an explanation at a later time.
Practical Information About the Assessment
The oral exam will take place in Domus Juridica, 6th floor, over the course of 3 days.
Information about the exam day and time will be published in Studentweb the week before your exam.
You should arrive outside the room in good time and no later than 20 minutes before the beginning of the exam.
You must show identification to the examiners when you enter the room, and the examiner will register your attendance.
The distribution of grades and explanations will occur at the end of the day in the same exam room where you took your exam. The starting time for this will vary depending on how many candidates are taking the exam in that particular room. You can find the time for your room on the attendance lists posted on the door. You should arrive at this time and wait until it is your turn.
