HUMR5131 mid-term results and next lecture

Dear students,

Now that the news are out I take the opportunity to congratulate with the results from the midterm exercise. As already hinted, the average is high and that is a good sign. If you wish a more substantial evaluation of your effort than just the 'pass' grade, you are welcome to send an email or visit me at the office for a conversation.

I take this opportunity also to remind you that the next lecture will take the form of a panel discussion with Inga Bostad, Nils Butensch?n and myself; unfortunately Claudio Corradetti cannot attend. In order to prepare for a good discussion of "Current Human Rights Challenges" the panellists will greatly appreciate receiving the questions beforehand, at the latest by Monday noon. Please send the questions or themes you want to discuss to my email address. Last year the group communicated their ideas through their representatives; a good idea. But of course the panel will also receive spontaneous

contributions, the idea is to create a meaningful debate that responds to the concerns of the students.
