The solution (preliminary version) to the final exam is now available
If you want me to go through specific exam problems on the Q&A session on Monday Nov. 21., please make a specific request on Piazza so that I can be prepared and spend the time wisely.

This will be the last problem set which counts. We have to turn in the list with those elligible (having >=5 out of 10) for the final exam on Nov. 14.

The midterm exams will not be handed back to you. However, if you have concerns about the number of points you got, look through the solution first. If something is unclear after that, come and see me (Olav S, F?464), and we will look through your midterm exam together. If you instead want to make an anonymous inquiry about your midterm exam, contact the study administration, and they will forward a written request to me.

We have received a paper (problem set 4) without name. Please contact me (Susanne) if you don't find your paper in the "ferdig rettet" box at the front office.
Please note that homework problems will be returned with a pass/fail grade only, without detailed feedback. Instead, a detailed solution will be posted each week. You are strongly encouraged to look carefully at the solution and compare to your paper. If you have questions, please come and ask at the following problem session.
which is located one floor down from Lillefy (where the old physics library used to be). That is, Origo is in the Physics building on the first floor in the western wing, inside the learning centre called Entropia (which has entrance by the stairs). Origo is the big room on the left hand side.
Because the exercise session is held on Fridays, we have postponed the deadline for handing in the problem sets to Mondays at noon. The problem sets will still be posted on the web on Fridays though. As a special case the first problem set is available already today.
