Welcome to FYS3400!

The first lecture is scheduled for the 22nd of January 2025 and is aimed as an introduction to the course as well as initial discussion of the crystal bonding and periodicity, leading to the idea of using reciprocal scape for wave-lattice interaction phenomena. In the second lecture this week - on the 24 of January - we will deal with examples of using reciprocal space for describing Bragg diffraction and Laue conditions in periodic lattices
