Delayed by sickness, but finally:
Thanks to everyone for following the course!
Recall that you will be allowed to take up to 3 pages (both sides) with own notes to the exam next week. You will be asked to both perform concrete calculations and to answer conceptual questions, so bear that in mind when preparing your notes. It is also a good idea to prepare these notes in an as organized manner as possible -- they are meant to help you, not to take additional time when trying to find the information you are looking for!
Good luck to everyone!!!
Anders' nice presentation of today is now online.
Just a reminder that this Tuesday (24/11), there will be a student presentation on
"Partial wave analysis"
instead of the usual exercise session. Please all come and attend!
On Thursday, there will be the last lecture of this course. Please prepare questions that you may have before the exam next week!
The lecture today (Thursday, 19/11) unfortunately has to be cancelled due to illness.
Next week, there are lectures as usual.
The next -- and last -- exercise session will start earlier than usual:
Tuesday, 17 November, 9 am.
Note that one week later there will be no exercise but instead a student
presentation (usual time, i.e. 10 am).
You can find problem set 9 here. Discussion as usual next Tuesday.
Next week, there will be no lecture on Thursday (Oct 29). On Monday, there is a lecture as usual, and on Tuesday there are exercises (Param will discuss the first problem, and say a few general words about functional analysis).
The solutions are now available and will be discussed during the exercises tomorrow, Tuesday 20 October.
The mid-term exam is now online. Deadline for handing it in is Monday, October 19, 10:15 am.
!!! Good luck to all of you !!!
Next week the exercises will be exceptionally swapped with the lecture on Thursday. So on Tuesday, September 15, there will be a lecture. And on Thursday, September 17, there will instead be exercises.
Tomorrow, August 25, the exercises will as announced already start at 9:30 am. We will meet in the same place (?467).
(starting from next week, September 1, this will be back to normal, i.e. ?467, 10:15 am)
The first problem set will be discussed next Tuesday, on August 25.
Remember that tomorrow, Tuesday 27/07, will be a lecture instead of group exercises.
