Welcome to Nanophysics! We are living in the age of Nanotechnology. This intensive course is a nice opportunity to find out what physics is behind the nanotechnology revolution. It suits well physicists, materials scientists and chemists. It does not require exceptionally good mathematical skills or deep knowledge of Condensed Matter and Statistical Physics, but it does require enthusiasm and desire to learn. After the course, you will be able to answer questions given in the link to the right on this webpage. The course content and pdf files of lectures are also there. I am looking forward for starting interesting and rewarding journey into Nanophysics together with you.
First lecture is on Thursday, January 17 at 13:15. All lectures, problems solving and presentations will take place in room V414 (Physics West).
