For those of you taking the Cloud Physics course as a part of your Ph.D. degree, you need to give two 45 min. presentations of recent relevant papers from the scientific literature.

Here are a few possible papers to choose from:

- Burrows et al. (2013): A model/observational study on ice nuclei in marine air

- Paasonen et al. (2013) including supplement: An observational-based study on BVOC-aerosol-cloud-climate feedbacks

- Schmidt et al. (2012): A model study on the influence of tropospheric volcanic aerosols on clouds and climate

- Thompson and Eidhammer (2014): A modeling study of aerosol impacts on clouds and precipitation

- Wood (2012): A review paper on stratocumulus clouds

Comments: Normally, each of you chooses two papers to present. However, the Wood paper is longer than the others, so it covers two lectures. Your selection must be approved by Jón Egill, e.g. to ensure a suitable thematic spread and a suitable degree of difficulty.
