(Access to the IN3120 team in Mattermost is an automated process based on a script that runs once a day and that adjusts team access based on official course enrollment lists. So, depending on timing, an enrollment list updated today might not provide you with Mattermost access until tomorrow.)

Welcome to IN3120 and IN4120 for the 2021 fall semester!

We'll be using Mattermost as the tool for disseminating messages and announcements, not this page. There is a dedicated team in Mattermost defined for this course, with a couple of different channels you can join. All students that are formally registered to take the course should have been auto-added and granted access to said team.

Desktop/phone apps for Mattermost are available, or you can use a browser. If prompted for a server name as part of the installation process, use mattermost.uio.no.

We'll use Mattermost also for asynchronously answering questions related to the assignments, the science fair, and the course in general.
