There will be only an off-line zoom recording made available for the lecture
The lecture for November 2nd will be provided as zoom recording only
Note that Zoom meeting details for the live lecture for today and next week was sent on email to all students registered for the course as a more restricted channel to adhere to security recommendations. Recordings will also be available as before.
Since there is some limited interaction we will organize for November 16th during the regular lecture hours a zoom meeting in which anyone in the course can ask questions and Knut and Thomas will answer. This meeting will NOT be recorded. A zoom invitation will be send out by email to all the are registered for IN5070.
Otherwise, you are free to send also questions via email to the teachers.
We plan to have the oral examination on November 23rd and 24th at Ifi with several measures that should minimize the probability to spread any infection due to the examination.
This includes the use of large rooms which allow for proper distance a plexiglass protection between candidates and examinators, fresh air through open window, cleaning of desk and other contact surfaces after each examination.
Since the Corona situation and the regulations from the State and University might change we cannot exclude that we need to change our plans too.
Due to the Corona situation the interaction is unfortunately limited. Therefore, keep in mind if you have questions concerning the lecture send an e-mail to Knut Omang or Thomas Plagemann.
The current Covid-19 situation forces me to give the lecture on October 5th from home office.
My apologies, Thomas Plagemann
Unfortunately, someone placed the wireless microphone not properly back to reload the battery such that it could not be used for audio recording of the lecture. As alternative, the audio was recorded on a tablet. Thus, there are now two independent recording: (1) zoom with transparencies & video, and (2) audio.
We plan to have all lectures in the seminar room Logo (hopefully with a lot of interactions) and record the lectures for those that are not able to attend the lectures. However, from a learning point of view the recordings cannot be seen as a full replacement of real lectures!
Disclaimer: This might be adapted to the dynamics of the Covid situation - health safety is first priority!
Keep Corona free,
Thomas & Knut
