The deadline for the final push is today!
Please remember to invite all group teachers to the git repository and submit a link to your git repository in Devilry (group delivery) before the 17th of November 23.59.
Please go the this spreadsheet and enter the username of all your group members at an available time slot. The first groups to register have the most options, so make sure to register early if you have inflexible schedules! Remember that the deadline for the final "push" of your application is on the 17th of November (23:59).
Unfortunately, there have been technical difficulties with the recording from the lecture 30.10. If needed you can look at the recording from last year. Note that this years lecture focused more on design and design principles (as this is part of the evaluation criteria). We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Does your group need another member? There is currently one student who is not assigned to any group so let us know if you would like to gain a group member. We will prioritize a group that has less than five contributing members. Contact course administrators as soon as possible if you are interested.
Dear all,
We have now updated the Group project description with the List of project groups, ...
We have had to change the room Group 4 uses Friday this week (week 37, the 15th of September) to Limbo.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

It has come to our attention that there was a technical glitch with the lecture recordings yesterday. The sound was not captured. There is unfortunately no backup recording of the sound. For those who could not attend the lecture, we recommend listening to last year’s lecture with a similar theme. The main difference is that this year’s lecture had a stronger focus on platform complementor engagement. We would like to emphasize that the lecture recordings are made primarily to support your recap activities towards the end of the course, rather than as a substitute for attending live lectures. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Discourse is now opened as a joint forum for the entire IN5320. Here you can ask (and answer) questions around the clock. How to use it:1. Go to https://astro-discourse.uio.no/c/in5320-23h/
2. Create a user, and confirm the user in the email you receive (NB you have to use your UiO email). When you have created a new user you might have to wait a few minutes until you can access the discourse page.
3. User guide can be found here - wise to spe...
Hi everyone,
Next week (August 28th-September 1), the group sessions start. The purpose of these sessions is to support you while you follow the self-paced course and later do the group work. For example, if you have questions or find some of the activities in the self-paced course challenging, then you can meet up in a group session and ask the group teacher for assistance.
As we explained in the first digital lecture, you can attend any of the group sessions. In other words, we do not follow the group assignment in studweb and there is no mandatory attendance.
Hi and welcome to IN5320 for the fall semester of 2023!
