The cirriculum list for Compendium 51 was for some time not in accordance with what was said at the "Undervisningsplan". The curriculum list is now corrected accordingly (28/11).
The curriculum list for 2017 can now be found at "Pensum/l?ringskrav" at the course page.
Also, solutions to the weekly assignments now occur for each week at the "Undervisningsplan".
Solutions to the 2016 exam will appear monday afternoon (27/11), after class.
Concerning the coming exam:
1. The exam will appear in English only
2. Permitted materials on the exam are: All written and printed
Hello!
I have now added all the exams from earlier years in the folder "Tidligere eksamener" so you don't have to manoeuvre through all the different pages to get to them. Regrettably the exam from 08 is only available with answers, and not all exam sets are available in English.
Best of luck!

Mandatory Assignement 3 is now available, and deadline is Tuesday, November 14. Testdata for Exercise 1 will soon be available.
In the example at the end of exercise 2.a, the answer is given as:
3
RRD
8
0
The correct answer should have 9 instead of 8, at least if the Manhattan heuristic is used.
Hand in source code plus one PDF-document (for your textual answers, plain text can be converted with the command a2pdf). Comments, specifications, assumptions etc. can be included at the start of the PDF.
? Put the source code (as many files as you like, but do not spread your code over several folders) and a document called oblig2.pdf in a folder called: oblig2_<your username>.
? The main java file for the programming exercise must be named Exercise2a.java.
? Compress the folder into a tar.gz or zip file with the same name, for instance like this: tar -cvzf oblig2_userme.tar.gz oblig2_username
? Hand in the compressed file at: https://devilry.ifi.uio.no
Mandatory Assignment 2 is now available. Deadline is Tuesday, October 24. Some associated files will appear as soon as possible.
There was an error in the link on the Undervisningsplan page. It is fixed now. The "Slides" link now links to the correct document.
The deadline for Mandatory Assignment 1 is postponed to Tuesday, October 3.
The hope is then that as many students as possible will turn up to the important lecture on undicidability (Monday October 2, Dino Karabeg)!

New and improved slides for the lecture Sept 4 (about Dynamic Programming) are published Sept 6. The older versions had a lot of inaccuracies, so throw them away, and read the new ones!
Merk: Den l?pende informasjonen om undervisningen ligger p? "Undervisningsplan", nederst til venstre p? kurdssiden (ikke p? "Timeplan")!
L?reboka er som i fjor: Berman & Paul: "Algorithms: Sequential, Parallel and Distributed". Det har de siste ?rene v?rt problemer med ? f? tak i denne boka, s? noe stoff til starten av kurset ligger her. Her ligger ting i kapittel-rekkef?lge, men stoffet blir ikke n?dvendigvis forelest i denne rekkef?lgen....
