?yvind Nyborg Hauback and Fredrik Heggernes Larsen will present their project on Tuesday the 26th.
De som eventuelt ?nsker eksamensoppgavene p? nynorsk m? si fra til fagl?rer innen tirsdag (26/5) ettermiddag. (In english: Those of you that want the exam problems written in new norwegian ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nynorsk ) must tell before tuesday afternoon.
J?rgen will cover the exam from 2007 on Monday the 25th of May.
For the presentations (12/5) we will use "Lille Aud.", not "Store Aud.", if it's not allocated for some other happening.
For your presentation you may, or may not, use powerpoint. Do what you like. Whatever you choose to do, remember that you have limited time to present! Good luck.
Problems from the exam from last year ('08) will be covered on Monday the 11th.
J?rgen will not be reading his email during the weekend. In special "cases of emergency", regarding the project, he may be contacted on his phone number provided here: http://www.ifi.uio.no/research/groups/nano/people.html .
If you like, you may get some informal feedback regarding your final written report, before May the 11th.
On Tuesday the 21th of April we have a "Project meeting", from 9:15 (Lille Aud.)( /studier/emner/matnat/ifi/INF4420/v09/undervisningsplan/ ).

The relevant problems for Monday the 20th are: 14.1, 14.5, 14.6, 14.14, 16.2, 16.5, 16.6 and 16.10.
Reminder: The 2nd deadline for the Project is at the 2nd of April. Deliver to J?rgen, by email.
Reminder: On Tuesday the 24th of March the lecture will take place at the Alfa Omega room, 4th floor.
Due to different reasons (including, but not limited to, travels and easter) there will be no problem solving classes on the following Mondays: 23rd and 30th of March, April the 6th.
For the deliverable on March 19 in addition to describing your test benches and simulated results etc, please identify the contributions of each group member. Also describe briefly the cooperation within the group.
There will be no problem-solving class with J?rgen (16.03.2009), and no lecture on tuesday (17.03.2009), during next week. Instead you might put energy into the first deliverable related to the project, that should be handed in at the 19th of March. Also please note that the lecture for the 24th of March will be at the 4th Floor, in the Alfa-Omega room (at NR).
On Monday the 9th of March, J?rgen will solve problems 12.6, 12.11, 12.17, 13.2, 13.14, and 13.17. Be aware of a typo in problem 13.17: It should be referred to figure 13.17, not figure 13.18.
On Monday the 2nd of March, J?rgen will solve problems 10.3, 10.7, 11.4, 11.7, 11.9, 11.10 and 11.12.
The project is to be done in groups consisting of 2 students. Please report your group to J?rgen before the 24th of February. Also get in touch with J?rgen if you have not found a project partner on your own.

The mandatory exercise includes problems 9.2, 9.8, 9.12, 10.2 and 10.6. Your individual solutions are to be handed in to J?rgen A. Michaelsen before 12:00 on Monday the 23rd of February.
The reference group for INF4420 this semester are Eirik Frode Mikalsen and Farshad Moradi. They may be used for communicating aspects regarding INF4420 between the students and the course staff (SA, JAM, DHB).
The problems for Monday the 9th of February are: 8.3, 8.7, 8.10 and 8.13. This will happen between 12:15 - 14:00, and the room will be (as it seems now) 3A (Informatics building).
