The list of examination dates for all candidates is now available. See link under the heading "Information about the exam autumn 2006". Please read both links under this heading carefully.

Oral examination will take place on December 6 and 7. Take a look at the information provided under the heading "Information about the exam autumn 2006". Candidate lists will be provided later.

Inadvertently, two of the groups were assigned mote time on Wednesday 18, during the lecture hours. The hours for these groups have been changed. See an updated version on http://heim.ifi.uio.no/~jarleso/INF5100/schedule.html

The two links to the papers on data streaming (see the syllabus) seem not to work properly. They have now been changed to links to x-port. Here you can proceed to the ACM digital library to get the papers. The digital libraries are only available through the UiO network, so you have to be logged onto the UiO network to access them (i.e., your IP address must be of the form 129.240..).

This semester we are providing an updated, modernized version of the course. Some examples of new subjects are: data management in sensor networks, data stream management systems, the Semantic Web.
