The lecture on Nov 29th has been cancelled.
On Tuesday 15 Nov we will have a guest lecuture. PLEASE NOTE that it will start at 09:15 and will be in Norwegian (apologies to our international students).
Please make sure you hand in Assignment 2 today, as only then can you be sure of swift feedback from your lab teacher within 48 hours.
For those who do not meet that deadline, you cannot be sure of full and swift response, and the very last chance deadline to get Assignment 2 approved (giving enough time for the lab teachers to correct it) is at noon on Monday Oct 10th.
Those who do not pass assignment 2 will not be considered for the group projects.
"Pro Spring" will be available at the campus bookstore from tomorrow, Wednesday Oct 21st.
The lecture at on Tue 2005-09-27 clashes with a lecture in INF5740. Therefore, it will be moved from 08:15 to 16:15.
Assignment 2 has been postponed for a week. That means it will be released on 2005-09-20, and the deadline will be 2005-10-04
"Perspectives on Free and Open Source Software" is now available at the campus bookstore. "Pro Spring" should come by the end of this week, but in order to prepare for Assignment 2, you should read the first chapter of Spring in Action
Assignment 1 is now accessible here
Please note that the deadline is 2005-09-13 at 14:00. Also, note that the lecture on that day is at 16:15-18:00
The HISP project now has a new server running. It can be found at www.hisp.info
Homework for the first week is to read The Cathedral and the Bazaar
We have three lab groups: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Lab space is limited, so we cannot have more than aorund 20 per group. Unfortunately, it is not possible to switch groups using the StudentWeb, so you will have to contact the group teachers if you need to switch group. More info
To facilitate student participation and collaboration with other institutions, a course Wiki has been set up here
