The group work starts this week, with the first deadline already this Friday, I advice all groups to get started right away with the basics.
I've had to make a few adjustments to the group assignment page, but following the descriptions as they are now should get you in the right direction.
Note that I've also copied last years FAQ and will extend this as I get questions that might be of interest to more people.
It's still Friday, barely! I've done some adjustments to the group project list, but not many changes from what I showed on Wednesday.
Send me a mail with three projects you would to prefer to work on, in prioritized order. If it is more important for you to work with someone than exactly what you work on, tell me. I'll do my best to fulfill the wishes, though I can't promise anything!
I'll try to have the groups ready by the next lecture, October 12th, try to send me your wishes before then.
I've put up the lecture notes on assignment 2 from yesterday.
I need to work a bit more on planning the suggested group task, but will get back to you tomorrow on this.
For those on group 2 (Wednesday), assignment 2 should be handed in to the group teacher, Anders.
You need to give anderrb access to your repository and send him a mail .
As mentioned in the lecture, for assignment 2 you need to link eclipse to mavens repository. I've appended a note on this on the assignment 2 page
Assignment 2 is due in just two weeks time, September 30th.
Note that I've put up some additional information to get you started on the database dependencies.
As we haven't got group teachers yet, just use me ( storset ) for the assignments.
The first assignment is now available. Note that the dead line for this assignment is absolute, and it must be done by all students individually.
Lecture notes from the first lecture are also available. Notes and sample code will be put up after each lecture.
It will be possible for late registration to INF5750, starting September 1st.
