Links to the videos of dialogue system applications (cf. first lecture)
I've embedded on this webpage the video of the dialogue system applications we have seen during the first lecture.
As an exercise, I would like you to quickly review the videos once more, and identify a set of 5-6 dimensions which, according to you, can be used to classify these dialogue systems (to find common traits and differences). Once you have identified such dimensions, draw a grid which classifies each of the 10 dialogue systems according to the dimensions you selected.
We'll then do a brainstorming of your classification grids for the next lecture (August 31).
1) CLASSIC's system
2) Higgins navigation system
3) COMPANIONS' avatar
4) Microsoft virtual receptionist
5) Virtual Humans Project (USC ICT)
6) MIT's voice-controlled wheelchair
7) Apple's Siri
8) MIT's Leonardo robot
9) Virtual museum guides (USC ICT)
