All the assignments consist of problems taken from the lecture notes, except for the last one which will be available from this page. In order to take the final exam you must complete and pass at least two of the first three assignments, and the fourth assignment.
Assignment 1 consists of problems 1.3, 1.4, 1.5 and 1.7 in the notes and is to be handed in on the lecture on February 15.
Assignment 2 consists of problems 2.2, 2.6, 2.11, 2.12, 2.17 and 2.19 and is to be handed in on the lecture on March 7.
Assignment 3 consists of problems 3.1, 4.3, 4.5, 4.7, 4.8 and 4.10 and is to be handed in on the lecture on April 4.
