INF5250 – Information systems development in organizations
Course description
Course content
Information systems development models, user participation and implementation, evaluation of development processes, organization theory.
Learning outcome
This subject aims at providing understanding for analyzing real world information systems development processes in organizations. The course gives a foundation for thesis work in information systems.

Prerequisites
Recommended previous knowledge
Bachelor degree in computer science, information systems or similar.
Overlapping courses
6 credits with INF-ISO-N. 8 credits with IN364.
Teaching
2 + 2 hours teaching per week. A mandatory assignment is required.
Examination
The exam consists of an individual essay and a possible oral or written exam. Pass/not pass.
Resit an examination
This subject does not offer new examination in the beginning of the subsequent term for candidates who withdraw during an ordinary examination or fail an ordinary examination. Other
The subject is regarded equal to IN364 when practicing exam regulations. Note that the first lecture is compulsory.
